Our annual Thanksgiving breadsharing service is a Spindletop tradition. The format of this Sunday is different in that we have a shorter service and take time to eat together. Breadsharing Sunday is a multi-generational service; the children will stay with the rest of the congregation instead of attending Sunday school class. Breadsharing is a potluck where we all bring foods to share together in gratitude.
August Worship Theme: Wonder
“If I had influence with the good fairy... I should ask that her gift to each child in the world be a sense of wonder so indestructible that it would last throughout life.” — Rachel Carson
