Comparing Prayer and Magic as Spiritual Technologies by Guest Speaker Blaine Graham

This service will be an examination of the different ways various religious traditions utilize
sacred techniques to interact with the Divine.

Blaine Graham holds a Bachelor's degree with a double major in theology and religion from Concordia University River Forest in Illinois. He has also made a personal ethnographic study of numerous religious traditions as they currently exist in North America, including Tibetan Buddhism, Lakota Sioux Native American Tradition, Neopaganism, Hermetic Magic, as well as various Christian traditions: Protestant, Catholic, and Mormon.
