Fighting for Democracy in Iran presented by Guest Speaker Professor Amir Fakhravar

Amir Fakhravar is a research fellow at the Institute of World Politics Center for Culture and Security in Washington, DC.  We are honored that he will be speaking at our church during a visit to Beaumont.  A former political prisoner in Iran, Professor Fakhravar provides both expert research and personal experience to the topic of democracy in Iran.  Democracy is always a topic we should learn about, consider and discuss.  Our fifth principle as Unitarian Universalists is the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process in our congregations and our society at large.  For more information about this speaker, see
